A while back I was the featured artist in an exhibition called "Forward Motion", it was in Hong Kong so I could not attend, but my friend who is an I.D. major found this image from his department chair who had a piece between mine in the show.

Out of Tune

This was always a favorite image of mine, it was part of series that was based on Daniel Quinn's book Ishmael, which examines the agricultural revolution and its disastrous effect on the earth through uncontrolled population growth.
My friend Dave was super awesome to help with the shot, there jellyfish around his feet during the shoot.

Ghosttown at Night
This image is of the old mining town of Fayette in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Its about two and half hours of exposure, the rotation of Earth during this time is what creates the star trails. I love doing these shots and the fact that we are on a planet that is spinning while flying through space seems to always escape my consciousness until I make a photo like this.I will be heading up to the U.P and look forward to photographing the fall color's, eating jerky and hearing some "you betcha's" from da yoppers.
